It’s time for another CASE Study challenge with the fabulous Jaclyn Miller and this week we have this fabulous piece to inspire us!
Isn’t that just amazing! Perfect die cutting and layout :) My first thought was to go for layered die cuts too but then while meeting up with crafty friends I got to use this awesome ‘thanks’ stamp from Winnie & Walter. Stamping it at an angle made it fit with the inspiration and then throwing in some stars and hearts to tie in too :)
Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see Jaclyn’s CASE of her own card as well as those of the Design Team and our guest for the month, Catherine Pooler :)
Short and sweet today, but I’m back shortly with a card for Clearly Besotted Stamps monthly challenge :D See you soon!
Supplies: Stamps – Winnie & Walter the big, the bold and you; Dies – Clearly Besotted Stamps superstar; Ink – Simon Says Stamp black; Card – Neenah solar white 110lb, Bazzill 40lb vellum; Paper – Studio Calico print shop; Enamel Hearts – Chickaniddy date night; Mist – Heidi Swapp color shine mint
Wow!

Gorgeous Debby, love the large font in the centre of the card, so striking, hugs
What a sweet and nice card for your son! Love the coloring you did! I’m sure he just loved this card :) XOXO-Shari
Well, all I can say is “lovely”. Beautiful take on the challenge.
This is AMAZING!!!
That card is gorgeous! Love the vellum die cuts and enamel hearts.
Debby, this card is gorgeous! I keep coming back to look at it again. I love how your CASE Study cards are always so imaginitive, they’re still obviously inspired by the original, but always something special and different. :-)
What a beautiful card! Love those tiny enamel hearts.
With the HS color shine spritz – for the kind of effect you’ve achieved on this card, do you spray directly from the bottle, or are you applying it by hand in little drops? It’s a new to me product so I’m not sure if it sprays in a fine mist?
Thanks!
I use the little tube that sits in the liquid to drop the mist onto the card Kathryn. I love mists – they are great fun and add just that little extra. Hope that helps :)
Thanks Debby , that’s a big help – just placed an order and I’m looking forward to experimenting with them! Always good to get advice and tips on new products from someone who’s familiar with them :)
This card is a treat! Love the color palette and all of the fun layers, especially the vellum and enamel hearts. I think the “thanks” looks so great on this bold and graphic card! Thanks so much for sharing.
I am definately doing this class, they do such wonderful calsses and watercolour looks just so much fun.
