I’ve procrastinated over writing this post because ultimately it makes me very sad :( I’ve taken the hard decision to step down from the CASE Study design team. CASE is such an awesome challenge. It celebrates the talent within our community by inviting a fabulous muse along for a month and then challenging the DT and players to create from the gorgeous inspiration. CASE has been part of what I do for the last 3 years and I’ve enjoyed every moment of my time on the team. Some of my favourite cards during these years have been my CASE cards as they have stretched me to explore new styles and techniques. Ultimately when you put more into a design I feel you get more out. However, there are times when there just aren’t enough hours in a day to do everything. For me, I reached one of those occasions where hard decisions had to be made :(
I just want to take one last moment to say Chupa (Iwona Palamountain) the owner of CASE is the most amazing, supportive and crazy talented person and it has been an honour to be on her team. If you fancy being on a Design Team then I highly recommend taking a look at the DT call that is ongoing for CASE at the moment.
For now though, how about a challenge from the muse for April, Jaclyn Miller. My apologies go to Jaclyn that I haven’t been able to give her amazing inspiration more of my time this month.
I hope you will pop over to the CASE Study blog to see Jaclyn’s CASE as well as those of the Design Team and the guest for the month, Catherine Pooler :)
Sigh :(
I’m sad to see you leave CASE Study, Debby, but I’m sure it is the right decision for you. Your CASE Study cards have been some of my very favourite! :-)
You made me cry, some sad but ultimately happy tears because there’s nothing I value quite as much as knowing that the time we spent together was remarkable. There are not many of the long time members left and whenever I’m losing one, it’s losing someone special. Silly in a way because you’re really not going anywhere, just changing things around, but CASE Study and most importantly, people who make it, are truly important to me.
You know that the door will be always open for you <3
Chupa you really are the most amazing person and I have treasured my time on your awesome team. Thank you honey for all you’ve done and continue to do for us all in this stamping community <3
Very sad to see you leave CASE Study but in the end you need to make the decision that works for you and your family. Will continue to enjoy your cards here on your blog.
Oh, Debby. We are all very sad to see you go! =[ But you’ve left your very talented stamp [no pun intended] on each and every card-maker that has ever had the pleasure of seeing your masterpieces at CASE Study, and here on your lovely blog.
Thank you.
Michele Ferguson
I know this must be a sad challenge to step down from, but I also know all about not enough hours in the day. Take care, I know you’ll still be here.
I will definitely miss seeing your gorgeous work over CASE Study! 3 years is a long time and I know it must be so hard to say good bye…alas, thank goodness, you are still blogging and making cards :)
Sad to see you go Debby – loved everything you created for CASE – but know that I will continue to love your creations and wish you all the best on your new adventure – whatever that may hold! Hugs, D
I’m sure this has been a difficult decision for you, but sometimes we have to prioritize in our lives…you’ve been an amazing DT Member, Debby and I’m sure you’ll be missed by all!
We’ll miss you on the team but hopefully we’ll still get to see your wonderful cards in galleries across blogland.
Thank you all for your comments, they mean so much and have really touched me. Now group hug before the tears start <3
