This is my second post today with a third on the way shortly, eek! Please scroll down to see my stencilled card for Virginia’s View’s latest challenge.
Moving on to this post and I have another Clearly Besotted Stamps sneaky peek of a set being released tomorrow! Filled with gorgeous clean and simple design Fruitilicious is sure to be flying off the shelves in the same way that all of Stephanie’s designs do! I chose the pear image to work with as while looking for an anniversary card the other day I realise that I have one or two love themed cards to send to my husband but very few suitable to send to others. The ‘perfect pair’ sentiment is perfect for those cards where you don’t want to be too slushy LOL.
As I was trying to decide what colours to use for my pears, I stamped one matching die cut in Simon Says Stamp’s sea glass – I’m still having my own love affair with this colour! Next I tried Hero Arts field greens – nice but a bit too green for what I was really looking for. I went back to the Sea Glass without cleaning up my stamp properly and they you have it a perfect mix of greeny/blue! I layered the pears over one of Clearly Besotted Stamps new tags – this is the rounded one. Be prepared to see lots of these as they are a great size and I love the simple classic shapes.
Right, I’d better leave you as I will be back later today with a look at a couple of new releases from Simon Says Stamp :D
