How about a simple, die-heavy card today :D I really can’t seem to put the new Simon Says Stamp Fog card down at the moment; reaching for it with every card! Here, it’s a perfect backdrop to some white die cuts – the Pauline Butterfly with Butterfly Drift over the top. I love this hello circle sentiment from the Butterflies stamp set which was stamped in Hero Arts Fresh Peach. I believe this stamp set was a joint collaboration with Amy Yingling of Inspiration Avenue and you really must take a look over there for some stunning projects beautifully photographed :) I’ve been a long term fan. The final touches to this card were some lovely sequins from Studio Calico’s Atlantic range and a little pearl from Hero Arts Blush Mixed Accents.
That’s me for today, we are thick into exam season here and I’m not sure who is more nervous each exam, my son or myself! I find it heartbreaking to be so helpless and wishing I could go in there and, you know, do what Mum’s do and sort things out. I am finding this phase of having to let him handle this himself so difficult. Equally I’m overwhelmed with pride to see him working so hard and trying his best :)
Supplies: Stamps – Simon Says Stamp butterflies; Dies – Simon Says Stamp butterfly drift; paulina butterfly; Card – Simon Says Stamp fog, Neenah solar white 110lb; Ink – Hero Arts fresh peach; Sequins – Studio Calico atlantic; Pearl – Hero Arts blush mixed accents
