I had fun today playing with the new Stars Parade die from Simon Says Stamp! The die is cut from DCWV glitter card and also a couple of patterned papers to add variation. I mounted everything on some of the new Slate card – love how deep and rich this grey is :) Then the Slate panel is mounted onto a Smoke card base. So that the final new grey from the Simon line didn’t feel left out I cut the Dad die several times from Fog card and glued the pieces together to give more dimension and allow the Dad to stand out from the starry backdrop.
Short and sweet today as I try and catch up after the Easter holidays :) Hopefully more regular blogging will now ensue!

Awesome masculine card, Debby! I love the slate gray background with all those sparkly stars…very cool!

hello
my name is Richi and i am also interested in cards and creating sincere and nice things to other people
though i have been busy with papercrafting for a long time,
it is still very hard for me to create cards for men, as they seem to me so far serious, so when i saw your card to ‘dad’ i love it!
welcome to my blog, always happy to meet new friends!!
