It’s the 10th of the month which means its time for a Clearly Besotted Stamps challenge!
This month the theme is ‘In Flight’ – birds, butterflies, balloons, maybe it has to begin with ‘b’ too but no planes would count also LOL. Well I am in love with the Elegant Butterflies set released this month so it was an easy choice for me. Time was short this weekend with birthday parties for the youngest and guests over too so when I find myself with only a little time to create then a tag is a great small canvas on which to work :)
I used some Simon Says Stamp water-colour card and ‘borrowed’ my daughter’s water-colour paints to give a wash of blue as a background. I misted with a little perfect pearls solution too to give it some shimmer and then stamped the butterflies randomly over the tag in grey ink. The sentiment is part of a larger one from the set which I white heat embossed onto Simon Says Stamp black card and then trimmed out close to the letters. Along with the perfect pearls, a little silver thread, a sequin and a dab of platinum stickles, oh not forgetting a swipe of Zig wink of stella glitter pen too and everything was subtly sparkling!
