Good morning! I’m here today looking at the Lovely Labels set from Clearly Besotted Stamps going live tomorrow :) Such an absolute staple set and not long to wait now until you can order! I seem to white heat emboss everything onto vellum at the moment and yes, couldn’t resist again today LOL. I like how the translucency peeks the pattern paper tags underneath. I then added a sentiment from another new set; Take Flight which has some really cute air transport images but also some great sentiments too. For the sentiment I used one of the Tag Along dies and then added a patterned paper heart using a die from Once Upon A Time :)
This tag is actually for a challenge; the lovely Evgenia Petzer contacted me a while ago and asked if she could feature one of my cards in her Russian challenge blog, Scrap Lifting! Of course I was delighted and Evgenia picked this card to challenge her team:
So for my tag I used the same ideas of layered patterned papers of different widths, vellum, a collection of items top left, stitching, loose threads and sequins :) I hope you will pop over to see the cards the team made – seriously stunning! You can check it all out here :)
I will be back tomorrow with one more look at another new Clearly Besotted Stamps set before the release goes live tomorrow evening UK time :). Hope you will join me then :)

I love how you’ve showcased this release today…beautiful layers and your use of vellum is gorgeous, Debby!
absolutely gorgeous! I just love tags!
You’re cards are so beautiful such a breath of fresh air, I love the way you combine so many colours and elements…the little touches like the silver twirled threads etc….and the vellum touches add intrigue without losing anything from the underlays….. Can I ask a question please, I would love some of the things you use from Simon says stamp but as I live in the UK is there anywhere here I can get them or do I have to order from America? Look forward to your next post….Sue B x
Clearly Besotted are based here in the UK Sue! As for Simon Says Stamp exclusives though they are only available through Simon, however, the shipping rates are good :) Hope that helps.
