Everything has been so busy here with family birthdays and well just ‘stuff’ that I’ve had little time to get inky. However, today I managed to squeeze in a little time and thought a touch of colouring would be just what I needed and very therapeutic! I pulled out the cute duck from Simon Says Stamp’s Tiny Ray of Sunshine set, stamped him onto a Tiny Tag and coloured with Copics. I masked him and then added the chevron border from the set in Sea Glass ink. I used the same ink to stamp the ‘hello’ bubble from Lawn Fawn’s Into The Woods set. A die cut ‘baby’ finished off the sentiment. Finally everything was mounted onto a couple of pocket cards clipped together with a peg. The colours were just a perfect match and I thought the date area was a lovely touch and could be filled in with the baby’s date of birth :)
Being double sided, these pocket cards make great tags; so pretty. Although you could pop these onto a card front and they would equally look great clipped to a gift bag or tied around a present too. The light was playing tricks with me today and it’s a bit tricky to see the ‘hello’ and chevron waves but believe me in real life they are fine. I get some lovely comments on my photography which really warms my heart! However, I’d still like to be able to take a photo and it be just as it is in real life. I’m absolutely positive I’m not the only one who feels this way!
