Hello! I’ve been enjoying playing with my daughter’s water-colours again! I suppose I will have to give them back at some point but until then I’m loving experimenting with getting interesting water-colour looks. For this simple card I washed a little water-colour into the bottom corner of a panel and when dry stamped the Hero Arts leaf over the top before adding a touch of stronger colour in some of the sections. Final touches were a simple trio of accents including a white heat embossed sentiment from the set.

The panel is loosely mounted onto another white panel and then onto a white card base with a little splatter. I wish I could control splatter better! The neat and tidy, control side of me wanted a few dots below the focal point and a few top right but it sort of went everywhere! I’m so glad I don’t use a red mist or we might have the look of a massacre LOL. Ah well, I’m embracing the imperfections as being evidence of hand-made. That’s my story and I’m going to stick to it!

Seeing as this is another water-colour attempt I’m linking it over to Virginia’s View challenge :)
