I seriously am as excited as a giddy child! At long last after lots of teasing and sneak peeking I can finally share with you the fabulousness which is the Spring Release from Simon Says Stamp!

My post today is part of the Spring Release Blog Hop so if you’ve just popped in here by chance then it would be great if you took a moment to start at the Simon Says Stamp Blog and follow the hop from start to finish to really appreciate all the new products being released today. I am seriously in awe of Jennifer, without fail she pulls out all the stops and creates the most amazing projects packed with techniques; I can’t wait to hop along myself and see what she’s made :)

First off I want to lay out for you what’s on offer in the release. I know this takes up a bit of room so feel free to scroll down to the card pictures if this doesn’t interest you but I always find it really handy to see what’s been released and what coordinates with what :) So to start off we have 12 new stamps sets:

OK so on to my card for today. I’m highlighting two of the new products – the Harlequin stencil and Hello Line stencil; one bold and dramatic and one soft and elegant! Oh I do love playing with stencils! To combine them on my card I used the Harlequin stencil to create a background; inking and spritzing with perfect pearls solution and a some gold mist.

 Then using the same gold mist I placed the Hello Line stencil onto a piece of white card and gave it a thorough misting. I love how soft and ethereal this looks! I mounted the panel over the Harlequin background with some sequins and thread and a white heat embossed sentiment from Square Sayings.
