A simple CAS card today showing one of the new sets from Clearly Besotted Stamps which will go live on Wednesday at 10pm GMT :) I wanted to create a dreamy effect of the little dandelion head drifting on the breeze. The dandelion is white heat embossed and then I set to with some inks. Now I really love my Distress Inks for blending but I could do with a few new colours. To mix things up a bit I combined Distress Ink in worn lipstick with Hero Arts soft cantaloupe and really liked the result :) A little spritz of perfect pearls mixed with water, a few drips of the same and then a good splatter of gold Heidi Swapp colour shine. Trying to keep it dreamy, I gold embossed the sentiment on vellum. And that was it! One panel, one vellum strip and a white card base – done :)
Of course you must pop by and see Stephanie; she’s a super woman and always has a pile of cards to share as well as links to more too. I will be back again tomorrow – I’m on a roll!
