I’m back today with another look at the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp :) I really wanted to showcase that stunning ‘Thinking of you’ sentiment from the stamp set by embossing it in white. I was aiming for CAS high end stationery with this design with the quality card stock in the Bazzill marshmallow and the beautiful watercolour paper included in the kit. I added just a touch of silver in the embossed leaf sprig nestling the sentiment and a little postage edge too.
I used the vellum from the kit to create a little slip for the card. Using the postage edge again to tie in with the card and silver heat embossing the leaf sprig on there again. A little twine keeps it closed :)
Here’s a closer look at the light catching the silver leaf sprig on the card ….
….. and on the vellum. That little sprig is so gorgeous!
I will be back with another card I made from this kit tomorrow for my CASE Study post. Hope to see you then :)
