Hello folks, I’m back today with another Simon Says Stamp February card kit example that was inspired by a scrapbooker. I mentioned Magda Mizera in my last post on design influences. I used this layout of Magda’s – love how there is so much white space going on and how she combines a few die cuts with a little stitching as a backdrop to her photos.
For my card I used the same idea of layered and stitched die cuts with a little stamping thrown in and used that as a backdrop to the white heat embossed vellum tag. A few enamel dots and a little twine coloured with a Copic marker to match finished off this CAS take on Magda’s fabulous layout.
The panel was mounted offset to top right on a dark blue Bazzill blueberry sour card base I made from card in the kit. Well I think that’s the last of the cards I’ve made so far with the February card kit, however, there is still plenty of supplies left. If you want to see more that I did with the kit click here, here, here and here :)
Supplies: Simon Says Stamp February card kit, Die – Simon Says Stamp medium tag; Ink – Versamark; Twine – Hemptique; Copic Marker; Enamel Dots; Embossing Powder – Hero Arts white

I’m always amazed (but not surprised) by what you create with the SSS kits, and this card is no exception! Gorgeous color palette and I love how you layered the elements on this card…so pretty, Debby! Thanks for the direct links to your previous cards ;-)
