Oh my word there’s such fun going on at Simon Says Stamp today with an awesome new release to take us into 2014! Hopefully you started this hop at Simon’s blog and have happily hopped along having just arrived from Jennifer Ingle’s blog. Seriously that girl totally rocks!
I know you can’t wait to see so I’m going to crack straight on and show you all the awesomeness which has been released TODAY! Yes, you can order these now:)
Dies:
I’d love to show you an abundance of projects so you can see these in action but unfortunately my main parcel seems to be stuck in the Christmas post somewhere :( I’m sure my postman must be a crafter and he just couldn’t resist taking a peek for a few days! However, in the nick of time to join in today, I was delighted to get the Objects of Love set to play with! This is an awesome set designed in collaboration with Lizzie Anne Designs :) I do love a good punny sentiment set!
I coloured the image with Copics (25% off at the moment) on Copic x-press it blending card and then coated the typewriter in glossy accents and the heart in Zig wink of stella clear glitter pen.
Then I dressed up the panel with some of the fabulous washi tape from Kelly Purkey and a sprinkling of enamel dots and sequins :) Don’t you just love red and aqua for Valentines?
What else has caught my eye from the new release? At the top of my hit list when that parcel gets torn open is going to be the leaves, oh the leaves! There’s the stencil, the mask and the die; I can’t wait to swoosh some paste through that stencil, perhaps mask it off and flick a few paint drops and I think the leaves die cut from one of the new card colours and layered over the top will look awesome!
Next up I think will be that Big Thanks die. I just love the way that loop from the ‘s’ swirls down and grounds the die cut :) I’m thinking I will keep this one quite simple; cutting the die from some of the new card and I’m wondering if it will work sort of at an angle and going off the edges of the card front from one side to the other. Hmmm so many possibilities!
Who am I kidding though I just want to get my hands on them all!
Now comes the fun part for you! Leave a comment saying what your favourite new product is by 6pm EST Thursday and I will draw a winner for a $25 Simon Says Stamp gift voucher!
And talking about giveaways, I’m giving away a set of the wonderful washi tape that I used today – if you haven’t already, you have a few hours left to pop by this post and leave a comment to win some gorgeous Kelly Purkey washi tape :)
Now it’s time to hop on over to see Lucy Abrams! I seriously can’t wait to see what Lucy has made!
