Dare I ask, are you ready yet? Me not so much LOL but I will get there in the end. I have a laid back approach to Christmas; we don’t go overboard on food and festivities but just like to spend some quality time with family and friends :) Even with those quite realistic expectations there is still so much to do!

Anyway back to today and it’s CASE Study time! We are continuing to crush over the fabulous inspiration Cath provided on Moxie Fab World and here’s this week’s:

Intriguing right? At first I was planning on going with some negative die cutting with stamping behind, but then I got the fabulous new Bird stamp from Hero Arts – love! So I stamped him in black on a neutral panel of card and gave him a good spritz with some Heidi Swapp seafoam and Mr Huey’s shine. I’ve only recently got into the mists and sprays but I am loving them! The photo above doesn’t really show them very well but you can see them a bit better in this close up shot.

I accented the panel with some stars cut from wood paper and a little silver glitter strip with the swirl of silver thread I am also loving at the moment. I dotted the bird’s eye with black enamel accents too then I stitched the panel to green card cut with the new Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge Frame dies. On there I white heat embossed a sentiment from the new Hero Arts Enjoy Today set.

Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see how the rest of the team were inspired :) Also joining us this month we have two awesome Guest Designers Amy Ryall and Leigh Penner to add to the fun!
