Wohoo have you seen that Kelly Purkey has a new release?! Everything Kelly does is so cool and über trendy, just take a look:
See what I mean :) For starters the deer silhouettes are just fabulous! I used the Oh Deer die to cut a mask and then blended in some autumnal Distress Inks before topping it with my favourite sentiment from the Serenity Now stamp set which is part of the October & November Project Kit. The panel is foam mounted onto a card base with a couple of enamel dots to finish it off :) I love this die so much I’ve already started another card with it!
Enjoy your weekend :) I’m taking the eldest to a swimming competition. I love seeing him race but there’s an awful lot of hanging around with this type of swim meet. Tomorrow, we need to be there for 9am and I doubt we will finish much before 5pm. Of course there’s the two hour drive each side of the meet too so we are talking probably getting on for 12 hours in total. In all that time, he will actually be racing for about 3 minutes 19 seconds! But you know what, for those 3 minutes 19 seconds, you couldn’t find a prouder Mum :) The whole process starts again on Sunday, but his Dad is going to take him then :)
Supplies: Stamps – Kelly Purkey serenity now (October/November project kit); Dies – Kelly Purkey oh deer; Inks – Distress Inks mustard seed, spiced marmalade, frayed burlap, Hero Arts cup o’ joe; Enamel Dots – My Mind’s Eye the sweetest thing honey love; Card – Bazzill marshmallow<
Fun card! It has a simple look, but you know how to give it some elegant style. Wish your son a lot of succes! Have a wonderful weekend!
Oh, how GORGEOUS!!! I love your deer silhouette so much…the blend of fall colors is stunning, and it’s perfect with the bold sentiment! Really beautiful card, Debby!
