This is my second post today as I mix up my seasons! This morning I was indulging in snowflakes and now this afternoon I’m back to autumn splendor! These sugar frosted leaves are left overs from my card that is up on Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 102 class today and I couldn’t let them go to waste! I stamped a woodgrain pattern in Versamark onto a neutral card base and then popped up a white layer die cut with the A2 Card Curved Edge die and then die cut again with the Berkshire Leaf Border Outline die. I took the leaf outline and blended Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door and Frayed Burlap then coated with a thin layer of Glossy Accents before dousing in the sugary goodness which is Distress Stickles dry glitter in clear rock candy. Then I tucked the frosted leaves back into place ;)
If you haven’t signed up for Tim’s class yet there is still plenty of time as this is only Day 3 of 7 so there’s plenty more content to come. And boy does he pack the content in! Such a fabulous teacher with loads of videos and and examples. I am learning so much!

I love fall colors and they are even better when they are crisp and frosty!
Totally rockin’ my favourite season of them all with this fab design! The sparkles remind me of crisp leaves touched by frost on a fresh autumn morning! :)
