Yesterday I was over on Simon’s blog showing a card using last year’s Furry Christmas set and for those that pop by here regularly you know that I LOVE Kristina Werner’s sets that she designs for Simon with her pet cat Mannie. So I was delighted when I saw this year’s Happy Meowday set; cuteness in abundance, perfect for Christmas and yet with great all year round appeal too :)
Mannie is coloured with Copics and his present paper pieced. He’s popped up on top of the new Wrapped Mailing Label die cut from some Lawn Fawn peace joy love paper. I love that detailed edge the die has and keep turning to it again and again :)
The fun Sketchy Banner was the perfect size for the sentiment and provided a grounding for Mannie and his present. Then it was just a case of adding a touch of twine and some gloss to the bow.
With the recent Holiday Release from Simon my Christmas card stash is looking quiet healthy for October!
Supplies: Stamps – Simon Says Stamp happy meowday; Dies – Simon Says Stamp wrapped mailing label, sketchy banners; Inks – Memento tuxedo black, Versafine onyx black; Papers – Lawn Fawn peace joy love 6×6 pad; Copics; Ranger Glossy Accents; Twine
