Yey, it’s World Card Making Day! I have lots going on today with my card above and below there’s sneaky peek of cards I have on Simon’s blog too. Then I’m back later with a hop for Clearly Besotted Stamps! Making the most of this day to celebrate :)
Those of you that watched the Simon Says Stamp video hop yesterday would’ve had a sneak peek of this card :) I loved the hop! Hopping and videos – the perfect combination :) Anyway back to today. This card uses both the Kate and Eliza snowflake dies from the Holiday Release. You can see the whole release here :) I cut the snowflakes from white card, rubbed with glossy accents and then coated in Distress Stickles rock candy dry glitter. So soft, sparkly and pretty! I used one of the Bracket dies to cut some patterned paper which I offset to one side and popped up on foam adhesive. Then I added the snowflakes on top of one another with more foam adhesive and a white heat embossed sentiment from Holiday Envelope Sentiments. Simple but those snowflakes really steal the show!
I also made a matching envelope and dressed it by cutting the patterned paper with the Wrapped Mailing Label die and tucking a couple of glittered snowflakes behind the address label :)
Before you go, I’m over at the Simon Says Stamp blog today looking at how to use our supplies in creative ways. Here’s a sneak peek but please pop by Simon’s blog to see in full :)
