It’s time to indulge in a little bit of CASE Study with our awesome muse for September Kathy Racoosin! Here’s Kathy card to inspire us this week:
Awesome, right? Colourful, vertical stripes, a large focal point and a bit of horizontal going on there too :) I used a die cut feather as my focal point; clear heat embossed the flower onto the feather and then coloured everything with Copics. Repetition always makes a good point so I added a few die cut thanks and then finished the sentiment off with white heat embossing onto card I’d coloured with my Copic so it matched the feather flower :) Oh and the stripes in the background, I used my Copic air brush to add a bit of colour through one of the awesome new Simon Says Stamp stencils. Phew think that’s about it!
Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see the Team’s creations along with our guest for September, Amber Hight, and of course Kathy’s CASE of her own card :)

This card is Amazing! I’ve looked at it like a zillion times. I love your style! I do have a question for you. Would you please tell me how you attached the thanks die cuts? They are so finely detailed there isn’t much room for adding a dimensional and yet it looks like they are popped slightly off the card. Thanks for your inspiration and enjoy your time with your family!
Hi Debbie, just spotted this question :) The thanks were glued to the feather just where they overlap and then if you notice that I left some of the die cut loop of the ‘h’ in the die cut – I popped a very small bit of foam adhesive under there for support. Hope that helps :)
Very clever! Thanks for answering my question.
