The first Thursday in the month at CASE Study means we get the chance to welcome a new muse – we have non other than Kathy Racoosin joining us for September! I love Kathy and she has influenced my crafting so much! I remember an Online Card Class video I saw of Kathy’s colouring techniques and I can’t colour now without thinking of Kathy’s tips for taking an image that little bit further – a bit of white gel pen here, a touch of glitter or gloss there …… Here’s this week’s inspiration to get the month started:

See what I mean about the colouring and little extra details! My eye was drawn to the die cut, ribbon and button element combined with gorgeous flowers. I miniaturised everything and used the Fresh Cut Florals stamps and dies from Wplus9 which I’ve long admired and finally came to live with me :) I popped my tag at the top of a card covered with the most delicious yellow chevron paper. Oh and to keep in with the attention to detail that Kathy always shows, I added stickles to the berries, white enamel accents to the little flowers and some lovely Wink of Stella glitter pen to the leaves.

Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see the Team’s creations along with our guest for September, Amber Hight, and of course Kathy’s CASE of her own card :)
