It’s time for a new Clearly Besotted Stamps challenge! This is challenge #4 and the theme is to stamp your own background :)

Challenge

This one stumped me for a bit. I don’t often stamp backgrounds but in the end I thought the gorgeous woodgrain from Background Builder II was a good, safe bet to tie in with some die cut Autumn Flower leaves. The woodgrain is stamped in Versamark on to the kraft card base and then the leaves stitched in place on a raised panel. A simple sentiment heat embossed in gold, a twine bow and couple of off set enamel dots finished it off :)

I’m on a few teams with Maureen Plut, so I already knew that Maureen was having to cut back her crafty time as she pursues a Masters degree. I was really hoping that Moe would still be able to squeeze a little CBS time in between her studies but sadly the course is going to keep Moe too busy and she’s stepping down. Moe is the sweetest person and I will really miss seeing her projects but we all know that life is a balance. Wishing you all the best Moe with your Masters!
