Wohoo, I’m delighted that Online Card Classes new class, Insider, starts today! In celebration of the start of class I created this winter wedding card with a little surprise on the inside :)
As you open the card you get the first peep of a little stitched garland of gold tipped feathers, leaves and bunches of berries!
When the card is stood open the garland stretches out to display the elements :) You know how I like my clean and simple finishes so I tucked the right side of the garland behind the inside sentiment panel and the left side of the garland pops through a tiny hole onto the front of the card where it is hidden by the front panel. All neat and tidy :)
The elements sweetly dangling there were repeats of those on the front of the card – white die cut Feathers from Simon Says Stamps new release dipped into molten gold. OK so swiped with Versamark and gold heat embossed LOL. I paired these with glorious glossy berries and rich leaves from Wplus9’s Fresh Cut Florals.
I’m looking forward to the first day of class. Come 2pm UK time I will be watching for the class to go live armed with a hot cup of tea and if I’m feeling really indulgent a chocolate brownie. One of our friend’s daughters is improving her cooking skills as part of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and I get to assess her baking. It’s a hard life but someone has to do it!
Oh and one last thing as I’ve got lots of lovely gold on here I’m popping this card over to Moxie Fab’s ‘All that glitters is gold‘ challenge :)
