Some of you might have seen this set at Simon Says Stamp yesterday. It uses the gorgeous Pointed Feathers dies from the new Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release :) I fell in love with these graphic beauties as soon as I saw them LOL.

The set repeats the use of the feathers through a card, gift bag, gift card envelope and napkin tie. The repetition of elements and colours creates a lovely matching set :) I cut the feathers from Copic x-press it blending card and inked them with Distress Inks before dotting them with some white enamel accents.

The gift bag is cut from a piece of 17cm x 23cm Bazzill card and scored along the long side at 4, 11, 15 and 22 cm and along the short side at 3 and 13 cm. If you’ve not made gift bags like these before I explain a little more in this post.

An alternative to a gift bag would be a gift card and this new Gift Card Envelope die is seeing a lot of use already! I live away from family and also as the children got older gift cards are very useful!

Finally I made a little ribbon napkin tie too.

I will be back tomorrow with another look at some of the new STAMPtember® products and then on Wednesday I will be hopping along with the most fabulous group of designers – always love a Simon hop!
