This is my second post today and unbelievably there’s more to come too! However, no matter how busy the schedule if it’s a Thursday then it’s CASE Study time LOL. I’m so delighted we have Jennifer McGuire as our muse this month. It made people laugh how much I crushed on her last week LOL. Here’s this week’s inspiration:
*Sigh* Serious die cut heaven! Jennifer manages to combine lots of fab techniques and detail and yet still hold on to a clean style which totally rocks :) I took out my die cuts and picked Butterfly Tendrils from Simon Says Stamp; it has enough detail within the die to be able to cut and colour individual parts. In the same way that Jennifer did, I die cut from white card and coloured with Copics. Then I popped the coloured die onto a panel which I’d added texture by swiping embossing paste through a Falling Hearts die cut. I’m loving adding interest this way at the moment. I popped the panel onto a green card based stamped in Versamark with the Impression Obsession’s Thin Stripes. The last touches were some thin strips of card to ground the panel, pearls, a banner and a swipe of the Wink of Stella glitter pen over the butterflies :)
Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s creations along with our guest for August, Kimberly Wiener and of course Jennifer’s CASE of her own card :)

WOW, Debby…and I mean WOW!!! This is absolutely gorgeous, and makes me want to go right over to SSS and buy this die :-)
Thank you so much for always posting the MOST beautiful creations!!!
Thank you for the explanation of how you got those hearts. I was wondering about that when I first saw the card.
Love how you used this die!
You coloured those leaves? I was really expecting you to say you’d cut them out of patterned paper! They look real!!
