Popping in to share a card from the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit. Yesterday I explored the lovely chalkboard papers in the kit to create a little ensemble with a feminine feel. Today’s card uses some of the neutral papers from the kit to create a masculine card. I made this card for my brother who has just accomplished a mega bike trip cycling part of the Tour De France route through the French Alps. It was supposed to be tough, really tough with mountain following mountain but we were all so proud that he achieved his goal :) Especially so as these days his age begins with the number 5!
I saw a gig poster on Pinterest with the overlapping triangles and was really taken with the design so used the triangles to represent the mountains and then popped one of the wood veneer bikes from the kit climbing to the mountain peek. The sentiment is from the kit stamp set, Life is a Journey, and I partially inked it to get the two colours and stamped it below the triangles.
On the inside of the card I used Simon Says Stamps Inside and Out Sayings and continued the two colours from my sentiment :)
