It’s time for our last CASE Study Challenge with Jennifer McGuire as our muse :( It’s always hard to say goodbye to our amazing muses; they provide such fabulous inspiration week on week and really knock my socks off! CASE in point is this card from Jennifer:
Way to work a background stamp! OK, so my CASE isn’t as obvious as some of my others. I was inspired by the angle of Jennifer’s banners. I loved how she used the Hero Arts background stamp to create her banners and at first I couldn’t get my mind away from doing exactly the same LOL and then as I was thinking of the angles I translated them into some striped paper. I reached for a Mama Elephant stamp set I’d bought the other day and there was a banner sentiment I could use to reinforce the banners on Jennifer’s card. After that I pretty much let my ideas go their own way LOL although I tried to group my elements in a similar place to Jennifer’s.
I have to say I’m making an effort to warm up my photos inspired by the changing seasons and team-mate Jean Martin. Jean takes such wonderful rich pictures which really allow her wonderful cards to shine :)
Talking of team mates. We have two of our team moving on; the delightful Maureen Plut and the fabulous Teneale. It’s been great being on the team with these talented girls and I want to wish them the best with wherever their road takes them next :)
OK it’s time to wind things up here but don’t forget to pop by the CASE Study blog to see the Team’s creations along with our guest for August, Kimberly Wiener and of course Jennifer’s CASE of her own card :)
