I’m fully embracing the changing season with my card for this week’s CASE Study Challenge! Here’s the inspiration from our muse this month Jennifer:
Gorgeous colours from top to bottom! I cut Simon Says Stamp’s Berkshire Leaf Border Outline from white card and then added colour with my Copic Airbrush. I added the die cut to a panel on which I’d swiped embossing paste randomly through Hero Arts tweed pattern stencil; love the texture this adds. Finally I converted Jennifer’s sentiment panel into a tag, again coloured with the Copic Airbrush, and gold heat embossed the sentiment.
Is it OK to say that I really like this card! It’s just a very ‘me’ one – white with a colour pop just simply makes me happy :) I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Team have made. Join me in popping by the CASE Study blog to see the Team’s creations along with our guest for August, Kimberly Wiener and of course Jennifer’s CASE of her own card :)

Stunning, love the autumn colours on the textured white background :)
Beautiful — the diecut leaves first attracted me but love your random stencil use for the textured background.
Super pretty card. I love the embossing paste on this card. It really adds an awesome dimensional element. Your color choices are wonderful and do remind me of the upcoming colors of Fall, one of my favorite seasons.
Just beautiful!
Gasp! This card is drop-dead gorgeous, Debby! I’ve been loving how you’ve been adding the stenciled texture–it is so cool. The color gradient is stunning.
Absolutely gorgeous! That embossing paste makes a fabulous texture. A perfect backdrop for those rich colors!
Very pretty! Love the gradation on the leaves border die cut!
