You know the drill by now; the first Thursday in the month means a new CASE Study muse and boy have we got a treat in store for you! ………….. Jocelyn Olson; wondrous CAS card maker and digi queen! Oh I am so going to enjoy this month! Not only that be we have Tracey McNeely joining us as our guest for July :) Here’s the wonderful inspiration card from Jocelyn to kick the month off:
Gorgeous or what! Jocelyn used digital images to create the background so I thought I’d have a go at dabbling my toes in the digi waters! Previously I’d bought these lovely mason jar digital brushes and had never got around to using them. I kept it simple using the pre-coloured gorgeous images and played around with the different jar options, resizing them and positioning them in Photoshop Elements until I had my first digi background! I printed it out and mounted onto a light blue card base. Then in keeping with Jocelyn’s card, I die cut a little banner for my sentiment. The sentiment is from the new Clearly Besotted set A Little Sentimental which will be released tomorrow night (5th July) depending on your time zone. The set is packed with all sorts of useful options all in a lovely clean and simple font :)
Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s creations along with our guest for July, Tracey McNeely and of course Jocelyn’s CASE of her own card!
