Wohoo it’s time for the first Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge! Here’s the photo to get that mojo rocking:

To get the show on the road, we have a fabulous sponsor, Verve Stamps!  Verve graciously provided the crew with the Strong Anchor stamp set with coordinating Nautical Die Set.

That’s not all!  Verve is also offering the Strong Anchor stamp set and coordinating Nautical Die Set to “The Lead” of the Feeling Nautical challenge!

Unfortunately I made my card a wee while ago before going on holiday (more on that in another post) and the Verve set hadn’t arrived before I left so I turned to the Come Sail Away set by Kelly Purkey for Simon Says Stamp. I was so inspired by the sparkly navy T-shirt against those bright yellow shorts so white heat embossed the anchor image on to a navy tag and popped it onto a yellow tag stamped in Versamark with the Impression Obsession Thin Stripes stamp. I did contemplate trying to make the navy tag sparkly in some way but then decided to add a sprinkling of sequins around the focal point instead. Finally I curved the sentiment to fit onto the Tilted Banner die.

Now, it’s your turn!  As it’s the first challenge I thought you might like to see the instructions.

1.  Create a new paper project (card, scrapbook page, 3D item) based on the inspiration photo.
2.  Post your project to your blog or public gallery that directly mentions and links to this challenge at the Curtain Call.  Feel free to copy and paste the inspiration template in your post; however, it is not required.
3.  Complete the Inlinkz section on the Curtain Call post using the direct link to your project before the deadline on July 25th at 8:00 AM CDT.

The LEAD and Show Stoppers will be chosen by the crew and announced on July 30th at 8:00 AM CDT.
