When I sat down to make my card for this weeks CASE Study I still didn’t have the software up and running on my laptop so I was unable to delight in more digi-dabblings inspired by our muse Jocelyn Olson :( I have really enjoyed exploring hybrid card making this month but without the software available it was back to the traditional :) Here’s the inspiration card.
Love, love, love those bright splashes of colour! I pulled out my dies for this one and the brightest pink and yellow card I had LOL – I need to indulge in some neon. I embraced the angles by mounting the butterflies onto an angled strip of card over a bright yellow polka dot paper. A bold black sentiment and a little bling finished it off :)
Please pop by the CASE Study blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s creations along with our guest for July, Tracey McNeely and of course Jocelyn’s CASE of her own card!
Supplies: Stamps – Simon Says Stamp happy; Inks – Versafine onyx black; Card – Bazzill marshmallow, banana split, Papertrey Ink raspberry fizz; Paper – My Mind’s Eye Kate & co oxford lane; Dies – Simon Says Stamp chrissy butterfly, leanna butterfly; Rhinestones
Absolutely gorgeous…love the intricate butterfly dies.
