It’s the last day of hops for Lil’ Inker Designs new release. Hopefully as part of the hop you have arrived here from Amy’s blog. If not pop by and see Laura to start at the beginning so you don’t miss anything.
Today I wanted to take a look at the new Stitched Circle dies. Can you see that you get two lines of stitching per die? One line of stitching is on the die cut itself and one on the cardstock piece/negative. There’s lots of fun to be had with this original idea! I continued my colour scheme from the last couple of days and paired up a collage of circles all die cut and pieced together with a couple of the circle sentiments from Spot On popped up :)
As a last look I thought it would be nice to show you all the things I’ve made for this release. All coordinating and pretty together!
For our final day of hops I’m sending you off next to the lovely Isha for more fun inspiration!

How in the world did you do that? I have tried to figure it out and I just can’t. To get the overlapping on the negative white card and the positive patterned paper exactly the same seems impossible, unless you layer them and do them at the same time. I love the effect. Great design and colors.
Hi Susan, I will try and explain how I did it as it was really quite easy! The tricky bit will be me fumbling with my words trying to explain LOL. So I started with a white panel. Planned my circles and took a photo of the layout I wanted. Then I worked out which circle to cut first – grey one – and cut the panel and a grey circle separately. Popped the grey circle into the panel and packed the panel with computer paper so that the die cut stayed in place. This way I was always working with a one layer panel. I repeated this process for the larger circle and placed in patterned paper and then the same again for the yellow circle. Finally cutting the two little circles. Hope this makes some sense LOL. Thanks for calling by :)
