I hope you will join Clearly Besotted Stamps with our first challenge! To get the ball rolling the challenge is an easy one; use at least one Clearly Besotted Stamp product with a theme of anything goes! The winner will be picked randomly and will get an amazing prize :) Stephanie, the owner of Clearly Besotted Stamps, is one of the most generous people I know and she is offering 5 stamp sets of the winner’s choice! Not only will the challenge produce one very lucky winner, but if you are interested in joining the Design Team in August as a Guest Designer then put GD next to your name in the linky tool when you submit your entry on Stephanie’s blog! You have until 23rd June to get your entry in :)
For my card today I wanted to play around a little more with the umbrella from the April Showers set. I’d previously used it here and I just couldn’t resist colouring it up again but this time adding white enamel accents as polka dots before coating the umbrella in glossy accents to give it that lovely wet look :)

Hi Debby! I am a great admirer of yours… You have a real gift for making cards, and this one is no exception! May I ask a quick question? How did you get these rain drops to look so real? Did you just use a very light blue ink and glossy accents? They are so perfectly shaped…What is your secret, if you are willing to share…Thanks so much!
Hi Phyllis, the raindrops are a little stamp from the April showers set (link at the bottom of the post) that I stamped in Hero Arts soft pool. Then just added a touch of glossy accents. You can use a pin to drag the wet glossy accents into the right shape before leaving to dry (the hardest part!). Hope that helps and thanks for calling by :)
