I really enjoyed getting my Copics out and colouring the Pure Innocence Make A Wish set the other day and so I indulged myself with some more Copic playtime! I’m trying to get the skin coloration right so that there is depth and shadows but not so much that she looks like she’s had a spray tan and just about to go on Strictly Come Dancing! I also enjoyed trying to get the impression of folds in her dress and a little lace trim. There are some amazing Copic colourers out there and I’d love to improve my technique but for now it was great fun just to play for the sake of pure enjoyment :)
Supplies: Stamps – My Favorite Things make a wish; Inks – Memento tuxedo black, Versafine onyx black; Card – Copic X-press it blending card, Neenah solar white; Paper – Echo Park dots & stripes home front, Echo Park dots & stripes bundle of joy girl; Dies – Lil’ Inker Designs stitched mats, sentiment flag; Ranger star dust stickles; Stampin’ Up adhesive rhinestones; Button; Twine – Hemptique
Awww what a cutie, beautifully coloured too :)
I think your coloring is rather fantastic, Debby! I stopped playing with my own Copics a few months ago, but whenever I see someone color something like this, it makes me want to get them out and start practicing again! You’ve achieved a level of mastery that I am only dreaming of right now! :)
Love this sweet, sweet card and the way those gemstones seem to be drifting right along with the dandelion wishes!
