I’m popping in today to share a couple of cards I made for the latest Online Card Class.
Have you got in on the fun yet? This class is based on His and Hers cards and yesterdays class was all about birthdays. So I made two cards one feminine and one masculine but both based on the same design. Above is my feminine, white, gold, script font, flowers and sequins card and below is my masculine, neutrals with a pop, simple font, enamel dots and architectural card.
The colour is a bit off in this next photo but hopefully you can see that the cards are based on the same design but just turned upside down. So there is a raised panel off set to the right, coloured card sentiment strip and scattering of sequins/enamel dots.
Well that’s me for today. I’m enjoying the change in the weather and spending some time getting the garden up to scratch. OK, to be honest, up to scratch is a bit ambitious perhaps I should say tidied up a little LOL.
Both are complete stunners!! I think the masculine card wins it for me because it’s a little more unusual but they are both fantastic and full of touches that make them so special!!

Debbie, you are so talented. Love your card samples, and no, I didn’t quite catch they were the same sketch at first glance, although I see that now? LOL Although I just love white on white, or tone on tone, I noticed in the past that you love your little pops of color, for the extra “wow factor” that comes so naturally for you. Why did you leave the HAPPY on the female card white? It’s gorgeous, a bit unexpected…and mostly… I am just curious how your artistic “brain” works because, quite frankly, your cards are always stunning show-stoppers! LOL

Thank you for such lovely comments Anna! Hmm thinking why I left the ‘happy’ white ….. I think it was because I was concentrating the colour around the gold and pink and wanted to keep things simple around them, letting them draw the eye. Hope that helps :)
Both cards are A-Mazing. I love the class but have neglected my homework. Only one post so far to the gallery.

Amazing cards Debby – I have just come from Clearly Besotted stamps website (love the recent floral cards you made with their stamps too) and scrolled down a little further. That chloe stem die is so popular I have not found it for sale on any Australian websites as it is always out of stock. How did you manage to pop it up so invisibly (it seems to stand out a long way from the background)?

Lots of tiny pieces of foam adhesive Tanya LOL! Hope you find the die soon it is a good one :)
OMGosh, you’re right…it is the same sketch :-)
You are so clever, and your cards are AMAZING, Debby!!!
WOW!!
Stunners, both of them, Debby :) Especially like the glittery gold on white!!
Hi Debbie,
Just stopping by to say that the “His” city scape card is amazing! The colour scheme is so complimentary to the design!
Wow, these are wonderful! The “hers” is particularly stunning IMO. I’m a sucker for white on white.
Love both cards–can’t resist glitter and city scapes! great example of variations on a sketch.
