Oh I do enjoy playing with my dies! Today I broke out Clearly Besotted Stamps new Honeycomb die. Gotta love how easy hexagons slot together! You get two little dies in the pack which makes quick work of cutting a bunch for a card like this. The dies are a great size not too big but not too small. I sound like a narrator for Goldilocks and the Three Bears LOL but it’s true; you can get a great pattern going with these dies in no time :)

A little while ago I picked up a selection pack of Bazzill card shoppe and I’ve been so impressed with the delicious colours and nice thick quality of this card stock that I put in an order for a pack of each colour! So along with the brand spanking new dies I got to break open 3 new packs of card. It’s sad but totally true that this makes me so happy! Working from light to dark I used Robin’s Egg, Candy Necklace and Jawbreaker. Jawbreaker, what a fabulous name, I think I’d love it for the name never mind it’s wonderful rich teal tones LOL.

Once I’d popped up my shapes on foam adhesive I added a sprinkling of enamel dots and a couple of sequins and then finally snuggled in a sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Happy Days set. This is a fabulous and very versatile set to be used all year round. You get three large ‘Happy’ words and then a selection of matching sentiments in a font that I just love; simple but that little bit quirky at the same time :)

Right that’s me for today. Lots going on here this weekend but I’m hoping to squeeze in a bit more crafty time if I can :)

Edited to add: Tracey kindly reminded me this would be good project to link up to CASology this week :)
