Wow, sorry things have been so quiet here this week. I’ve been really busy but nothing I can share quite yet. On to today and a little card for this week’s CASE Study Challenge with Maile’s stunning card to inspire us :)

I took the heart theme, colours, that cute little word circle and the script font mixed it all up and came up with my inlaid die cut card. I left out a couple of the pieces from around the ‘you’ so to get a nice negative die cut effect in there too. Finally I coated the heart in a thick layer of glossy accents. And for those of you that know me and glossy accents …… let’s just say this was not my first attempt at this card. I just couldn’t leave it alone long enough to dry and kept trying to squeeze that ‘you’ in there and messed up at least a couple of versions before I finally managed to behave myself LOL.

Don’t forget to pop to CASE Study to see more takes on Maile’s card from the Design Team, our guest for May, Erin, and of course from Maile herself :)
