It’s time for this week’s CASE Study! I can’t believe this is week 4 with Maile as our muse already! Fortunately May is a five Thursday month so we have next week to enjoy too before saying goodbyes :)
I must admit that this week had me stumped as I just couldn’t think of an original take on the idea. Love the colours, love the leaves, love the bling … so I just went with it and made a quite literal CASE of Maile’s card :) Lots of Clearly Besotted Stamps goodies on here with the lovely delicate leaf sprig from Leafy Accents, my favourite butterfly from Butterfly Wishes and a sentiment from My Cup of Tea. To spice it up a bit I added rock candy Distress Stickles to the leaves and star dust Stickles to the butterfly before finishing off with a few sequins for bling.
Pop by CASE Study to see more takes on Maile’s card from the Design Team (they amaze me each and every week), our guest for May, Erin, and of course from Maile herself :)
Supplies: Stamps – Clearly Besotted Stamps butterfly wishes, my cup of tea, leafy accents; Inks – Versafine onyx black, Hero Arts field greens, forever green, Distress markers spun sugar, worn lipstick; Dies – Clearly Besotted Stamps butterfly wishes, leafy accents, Wplus9 timeless tags 2; Ranger Distress Stickles rock candy, Ranger Stickles star dust; Twine – Hemptique; Sequins
Absolutely gorgeous as usual. TFS
This is such a gorgeous card! I just love how everything pops off the card, and the Stickles really makes the leaves and butterfly shine!
I gasp at the pure beauty of this card!
Can you please give us a tutorial about how to place bling? No one does it like you do. It amazes me every time.
So so beautiful!
Really beautiful. Love how you use tags and the colouring is just amazing!
Splendid !
Another beauty Debby, so crisp and clean… love the touch of sparkle too :0)
