I was absolutely delighted to wake up yesterday to the wonderful news that Chupa (Iwona Palamountain) had given birth to a baby girl! I think they were expecting a girl but didn’t want to make a card until she was finally here. Even in this day and age sometimes the ultrasound can be misleading LOL. But not on this occasion as sweet little Julia will be bringing joy and happiness to Chupa and her family.
I set to and made a card straight away but only got to take a picture this morning. I seem to have phases where I can’t resist a certain design or product. Just recently I’ve been continuously using the tweed pattern background stamp from Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamps’ tilted banners, simple tags as focal points, Hemptique twine, My Mind’s Eye enamel dots and lots of shimmer and shine. Several of those addictions made it into this CAS card. I paired the twine strung tag with my one of my favourite baby images; the elephant mother and baby from Paper Smooches A Little Lovin’ set. Not only is this image the cutest but I really think it portrays the love between mother and child which makes it a winner in my book.
Congratulations Chupa, I hope you and Julia are doing well and fitting in lots of baby cuddles :)
