Ok so it’s not me that’s going over the edge but I’ve taken that inspiration from this week’s CASE Study with the über fabulous Maile Belles as our muse!
I’m delighted to see so many of you inspired by Maile and I am looking forward to seeing what you make of this weeks card. I was inspired by the subtle stamping on the kraft base and the flower image jutting out over the edge of the card. I condensed everything down onto a tag with my favourite Hero Arts tweed pattern stamped in Versamark and a bloom from Clearly Besotted Stamps’ With Love set popped up and set off to the side. The banner is from Simon Says Stamp’s Tilted Banner dies with a matching sentiment from Tilted Banner Sayings.
We are waiting with bated breath as to whether Chupa our fabulous CASE Study boss has a new addition to her family. I hope your day is awesome Chupa and you finally get some baby cuddles in :)
Don’t forget to pop to CASE Study to see more takes on Maile’s card from the Design Team, our guest for May Erin and of course from Maile herself :)
Supplies: Stamps – Clearly Besotted Stamps with love, Hero Arts tweed pattern, Simon Says Stamp tilted banner sayings; Inks – Versamark, Versafine onyx black; Card – Neenah solar white, Papertrey Ink kraft; Dies – Simon Says Stamp tilted banners; Twine – Hemptique; Enamel dots – My Mind’s Eye the sweetest thing tangerine together
Breath-taking, Debby! Although I did like the email alert with the leading words: “A little over the edge”, and thought, uh oh…….that little play on words did give me a nice chuckle first thing this morning. LOL Thanks, I needed that! LOL Love your style, it’s absolutely gorgeous. AND, the uber-talented Maile Belles, what’s not to love? She is the Queen of simply stated. Ha! Love that gorgeous floral stamp, both cards! TFS!
Uber pretty!!
Stunning per usual!
Absolutely GORGEOUS card, Debby! I love how you colored the flower and your design and color combo is stunning!
Thinking of Chupa…I hope all is going well :-)
Wow, Debby! This is a great card and really shows off that banner die. Makes me want one right now, so that’s usually the sign. I really love this flower, too. The embossing powder was the perfect thing for the flower and stem! Totally a sleek, finished, professional card. LOVE it!
They say good things come in small packages, and the same can be said when you condense a design onto a small tag/canvas. Simply fabulous!
Hugs!

beyond fabulous. i adore this
This is a beautiful card. I too, am intrigued with the “hanging” off the side idea. It gives the card a real artsy look. Your card is just gorgeous.
Hugs,
Jo
Have a great weekend!
