I didn’t mean to make another card using (CAS)E This Sketch #7 but as I started pushing the die cuts and coloured card around it just sort of fell into place LOL.
My card today uses the fabulous Super Dad stamp and die set from Clearly Besotted Stamps latest release. This set is packed with lots of options for ties, pockets, buttons and some fab fonts and sentiments too. Just recently I don’t seem to be able to put away the rainbow selection pack from Bazzill card shoppe, so I matched my shirt and tie to some lovely rich colours from the set and added a few stars from Simon Says Stamps holiday shapes.
You may question the colour of the tie; lime green is perhaps not a common choice but hey, it’s my blog and I choose the colour hehe. It’s also a bit of a joke with my husband, who will be the first to admit that he hasn’t the best dress sense! He tends to stick to safe choices himself but when the children were little and he was in charge of getting them dressed …… well lets just say his choices ranged from hilarious to bizarre at times LOL.
I will be back tomorrow with the next instalment of inspiration from JJ Bolton our CASE Study muse for April – see you then :)

I just wanted to say something nice to you. This card made me write it, because it is just so YOU-clean, simple, fresh, trendy and fun. I am subscribed to many crafty blogs, I receive from 10 to 15 emails each day, mainly with cards. And I am always happy when I see “Lime doodle” in my mailbox because I know that you’ve created something extraordinary and beautiful again.
And as is turns out every single time, the content of so expected mail never lets me down. It is unbelievable how you manage to create something incredible every single time. In a half year time since I am your subscriber, I didn’t see a thing you’ve created that I didn’t like. (A bit weird sentence, I ment to say I like everything you create).
You have a great talent and you are my role model. Please, keep making me happy with your mails and your incredible designs! :) Greetings from Slovenia.
This is great Debby, I don’t know…. A lime green tie is quite trendy… My James would choose one for his dad to wear if given the chance :0)

Love those colours and sketch.
Is it just me that you seem to be more chatty since your new blog? :) Anyway, I like it.
So cute! Love the pop of color in the tie and stars and how they pop off the card!
I like it. This one is definitely a “His” card… can’t be mistaken.
And as today I’m feeling poetic: lime green looks good on him :)
Fab – LOVE your colour choices!!x
Lovely bright colour combo Debby! Love the addition of the stars, and yes, you definitely did right going with the lime green tie, lol!
