Over at Moxie Fab World the Tuesday Trigger is all about soft neutrals and metallics. The image also reminded me of a recent post by Julie Ebersole on modern vintage. Vintage can be hard for us CAS loving girls but Julie managed to work vintage images in with her own style. So I thought I’d give it a go.
I kept to one of my favourite designs – a panel popped up with patterned paper peeping out and paired it with the Fork and Spoon from Hero Arts, some silver twine and a couple of gold sequins. Sequins are a mini trend I’ve been noticing more and more recently and I was delighted to find a couple tucked away – you see it does pay off to be a little bit of a horder :)
Supplies: Stamps – Hero Arts fork and spoon D5418, thank you messages CL142; Inks – Versamark, Versafine smoky gray; Paper – Basic Grey aspen frost; Die – Papertrey Ink fillable frames 9; Embossing Powder – Ranger super fine detail gold; silver twine, gold sequins
Stunning take on the Trigger Debby! Great composition, love the oatterned paper and the careful positioning of the sequins! I love your take on Modern Vintage – seems I’m not the only one who was inspired by Julie’s post. :-) I’m hoping to join in with the Trigger for the first time, I hope I can do it justice like you have!
This looks like a winner to me, Debbie!
