Good morning :) I was asked by the lovely Babi Kind over at Addicted To Cards Challenges if I would like to join them as a guest and set a challenge. I was delighted to accept and maybe it’s wishful thinking but the challenge is to create a CAS card with a spring theme!
Here’s my card; I used the delightful Butterfly Wishes set from Clearly Besotted Stamps paired with a snippet of background from their Building Blocks set and a sentiment from Flower Arrangement.
All very light and airy and hopefully reminiscent of fresh spring air that tempts you to throw the windows open :) I stamped the butterfly twice – once onto white cardstock and once onto vellum and then popped a pearl coloured with a Copic in the middle :)
I hope you will pop by Addicted To Cards Challenges and see what their Design Team came up with :)
Supplies: Stamps – Clearly Besotted Stamps building blocks, butterfly wishes, flower arrangement; Inks – Hero Arts soft green, Amuse bermuda, Versafine smoky gray; Card – Papertrey Ink vellum; Die – Clearly Besotted Stamps butterfly wishes; Stampin’ Up adhesive pearl; Copic marker BG15
I LOVE this CAS card Debby. Lots of white space and a hint of colour – beautiful.
*Happy sigh*, this card is so lovely it made me smile – fabulous as always Debby :) x
It’s just so whimsical, with the vellum butterfly over-top. Beautiful!
Happy sigh… this is so so beautiful Debby!! Such a light airy feel about it – you’ve definitely succeeded in your aim!
Oh, I just love this.
So gorgeous!
Hmmmmm spring and CAS you say? This challenge has you written all over it! ;D
What a beautiful card – I definitely get that breath of fresh air with it. In fact, I may just go and open my windows…until I feel how cold it is! LOL!
Hugs!
