Hello, my name is Debby and I’m a stash horder! I like to be neat and tidy (ish) but my propensity to keep things ‘just in case’ has meant that over the years I’ve been crafting my collection of craft items has grown out of control! I took last year’s Online Card Class kick start which was filled with inspirational ideas on how to get your mojo going. One of the elements of the class was organising your craft space and knowing what you have. With that aim I set about tackling my patterned paper collection; I went through and cut down part used pieces of 12×12 papers into 6×6 pieces which I find more useful for card making. I have more paper than I could ever use in a million years so I have collected together some piles of about 100 6×6 pieces to give away! The papers come from the usual big name Paper Crafting brands but are mainly from older collections.
I’m trying to be realistic in what time I have to tackle my stash but my aim over the next few weeks/months is to sort out what I still want to keep and what I want to giveaway. I’m starting today with my paper giveaway and due to weight this giveaway is restricted to UK followers only. Sorry international friends, but your time will come; once I’ve tackled the paper mountain I’m planning on the embellishment breeding ground next and being lighter in weight I will post those items anywhere :)
So if you are one of my followers living in the UK and fancy a stack of 6×6 papers then please leave a comment below :)
Edited to add – this giveaway is now closed.
Debby I so understand about the overwhelming amount of paper we hoard. Thank you for inspiring me to do the same. I am an International visitor but just want to drop a note to say thank you and wish you luck.
Hi Debbie, these would be wonderful! Now where would I put them……I’m sure I can claim a few more inches from my husband lol
When I need to make a card 6×6 papers are so easy to use and I don’t have to feel bad about cutting into a piece of 12×12 that I think I might need for my scrapbooking. I would love the chance to play with your paper excess.
Hi Debby, I think I may be one of the very few seasoned stampers who do not have a large stash of patterned paper…. And I’m not sure why as I have more than one or two stamps…. !!!! Thank you for your generous giveaway – I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

I don’t live in the UK, but I like your idea of cutting the pieces into 6 x 6 pieces… maybe that would show me that those older scraps are either going to make the cut or not…
I don’t live in the UK either but I’ve been doing some January organizing as well and I think your idea of cutting 12″ papers into 6×6 is awesome!! {slap forehead} Why didn’t I think of that?! Where’s my paper cutter…… thanks for the inspiration! ;)
Hi Debbie, I sorted some of my stash to give to the grandchildren to play with, put it in a box, and slowly but surely ended up putting most back in my drawers, gulp! Don’t judge me, my name is Jane and I’m a craft addict.

Debby, I admire your resolve yo actually tackle your craft room. I love admiring papers for the design, tactile elements and the different colour schemes. I actually thought of getting some cheap frames so I could put my favouties on the wall to admire and hopefully inspire me. I live in UK so I hope I’m lucky to win some for my empty frames!!!
