Oh my, oh my I can’t believe I am taking part in the Hero Arts 2013 catalog blog hop! Someone pinch me LOL. Hero Arts products are totally fabulous, the people are the best and I am so honoured to be taking part today! Hopefully as part of the hop you’ve arrived here from Sally Allnock‘s blog if not pop by Hero Arts to start at the beginning so you don’t miss anything.
For my first hop card (there’s two!) I just had to break out the new Hero Arts Tweed Pattern (S5654); I just love Hero Arts background stamps and this guy is no exception! I’ve finally finished my Christmas cards (yey) and so I wanted to really hit some fun, bright colours with this background. I got out a bunch of Distress Inks and patted them onto my craft sheet before squirting with a solution of perfect pearls then I squooshed my stamp into the sparkly ink and stamped onto white card.
Aren’t those different fonts just so great together!
Now here’s the fun part for you – leave a comment here (and for more chances to win on the other blog hop participants too) and Hero Arts will be giving away several prize packs, with winners randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Monday, December 17. Remember, if you find a link that doesn’t work, you can always hop back to the Hero Arts Blog for a list of direct links to all the blogs in the hop.

Such great stamps & a great way to use them!
awesome cards and yes that first one is bright and cheery… thanks for sharing – will definitely try something similar
Great cards. Kind of a water-color effect.
The watercolor effect on the background is so cool. Distress inks rock! And I LOVE the pastel mix on the second card. Glad to know I’m not the only one who loves shine and sparkle! Perfect pearls and stickles are the greatest! :)
Cute and clever cards. Love how that first one turned out with the multiple colors.
That tweed BG. With watercolored ink and pearl shine. = LOVE.
