I used a negative die cut circle for my moon with cute bats from Torico’s Bugs and Hisses set for There She Goes. The sentiment is from the same set and I backed it with twine to reflect the ribbon that Torico used. A bare die cut branch for a tree just finished off the spooky feel :)
I inked the paper for the moon with wild honey distress ink and then spritzed with water to give craters. Well they could be craters couldn’t they?! I inked the main panel with pumice stone distress ink and used a roughly cut cloud shape to mask and try and achieve the impression of swirling spooky mist. Gotta use your imagination a bit with this card LOL.
Here’s that DT list for you to click away for more inspiration :)
Supplies: Stamps – There She Goes bugs and hisses; Inks – Versafine onyx black, Distress Inks antique linen, pumice stone, wild honey; Card – Stampin’ Up elegant eggplant, basic black; Markers; Dies – Memory Box woodland branch, Spellbinders circles, Papertrey Ink angled labels; Twine – The Twinery lilac

That Halloween card is amazing. Love how you made the moon and the craters are a great effect. Those bats are darling (yes, I never would have though bats could be “cute”, but these are.) Can’t wait to see what you create in class!
