Wow, week three of June already! Time is sure flying by ……
Ok, that was a bit punny but I just couldn’t resist. This is the card to inspire us at CASE study this week :) Joy certainly pulled out all the stops with this one – isn’t all that dimension gorgeous and the blue with neutrals and the bold number top left. Now before I go on to show you my card I’d just like to say that this is a rather special CASE study post as I believe a certain DT member has a birthday today …. a big birthday, you know one of those that ends in a zero …….
HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY AIMES !!!!!
Amy (Aimes) is one of the sweetest people I’ve met in blog land; always there with encouragement and a witty comment to make you smile. Not to mention she has talent oozing out of every pore! Aimes, this card is for you :)

I translated the overall placement of elements on to my die cut panel – the clouds and plane became the branch and bird, the banner sentiment dictated where my sentiment went with the number top left. I have the exact same impression plate as Joy and included a strip of embossed blue card below my panel.
I didn’t want to stop there with my card though. The branch sticking out one side and birds tail the other meant that this card wasn’t going to fit in an envelope. So I made a matching custom envelope.
I hope you have a wonderful day Aimes full of fun, laughter and cake!
Here’s the rest of the team to see how Joy inspired them.
