Day 2 of the online class “A Cut Above” is looking at window cards. I made this window card with this week’s Runway Inspired challenge in mind.
Supplies: Stamps – Paper Smooches geo-graphic, Hero Arts/Studio Calico hooray; Inks – Versafine onyx black, Versacolor sky gray; Glitter – Art Institute Glitter 179 tang; Die – Papertrey Ink fillable frame 7
Here’s the inspiration photo:
Like the design team, I was inspired by the orange, grey and gold colour scheme along with the chevrons. I liked the way that Jen had used glitter for her chevron and remembered I had a tub of orange glitter too. It’s such a shame that glitter doesn’t photograph well. In real life the orange chevron is so bright and sparkly!
I’m also going to drop this card by A Blog Named Hero for their cards with a view challenge.
Until tomorrow :)
Fantastic with the chevrons!
Good-lookin’ card!
Debby – LOVE IT! I really like the way just the one chevron is glittered. Awesome!
Absolutely fab!! Love it, Debby!
Wonderful card… Love the inspiration behind it.

Wow! Debbie! looove everything about your card. The single orange glitter chevron, the crown, the window….. WOW!
I’m entering RIC this time, not because I think I will win, nope that title should clearly go to you, but because I haven’t missed one yet, and I’m not starting now, no matter how REALLY awesome ur card is!
Wida was just gushing about this card on her blog so I had to stop over and check it out. She’s right, it’s GORGEOUS!
Yep! Wida was right-amazing. The crown is to die for!
