Is it week two of April already? Having the children home sure does make time fly by! Here is this weeks wonderful CASE study inspiration from Laurie.
For this card I used the technique of looking at the inspiration card, then turning away and thinking of a few of the elements that struck me. I remembered the label with a sentiment mounted separately within, the patterned paper top and bottom of the mat and the vertical line on the right side.
Supplies: Stamps – Stampin’ Up four frames, create a cupcake; Inks – Versafine smoky gray; Paper – Studio Calico classic calico vol 2, memoir; Twine – The Twinery; Punch – Stampin’ Up
*Sigh* this is the last of this Studio Calico paper from the pad. Such a lovely neutral background yet with a modern, elegant twist and a great backdrop to this CAS label with sentiment popped up.
As our Easter two weeks draws to a close I expect to be posting here a little more often :) See you soon. In the meantime drop by these fab girls for more inspiration:

*Sigh.* Such a lovely CAS-ified interpretation.
Beautifully done! The pops of orange paper are my favorite part!
I love the color and design, graphic, slightly feminine, perfect!
What a fabulous take on the CASE Study Debby! I love your pops of orange – so fun and pretty at the same time!
Hope you had a fab time away in Greece! You ready to switch roles again as we head back to school?! LOL!

Simply stunning. Love that paper. It must have hurt to use the last of it!
