It’s the start of a new month and at CASE study this means we have to say a sad fairwell to our fabulous muse for February Karola. I truly loved CASEing Karola’s detailed style.

As we move in to March I hope you will welcome our new muse Laura Bassen! Laura has a clean and simple style which I just love! And to start us off in style we have this colourful creation to CASE this week.

The stitching through Laura’s heart die cuts reminded me of a die cut I have. Not a heart but a leaf with a scored vein. I cut nine leaves and overlapped them into a flower reminiscent of Laura’s design.
Supplies: Stamps – Lil’ Inker Designs flags and tags; Ink – Versafine onyx black; Card – Stampin’ Up basic gray, bashful blue, pool party; Die – Clear and Simple Stamps build a critter owl/kitty; Brad – Stampin’ Up

A simple sentiment finished it off. I don’t know about you, but I use birthday cards more than any other. Here’s a zoom in of the dimension the overlapping of the leaves achieved.
